Hiring for a leading life insurance client.
Job Purpose: To complete the Ind AS Financial reporting on timely basis and with quality for all relevant stake holders and to lead from Finance end the bigger transformation project such as Ind AS 117 implementation and Automation of Reports.
Designation: Chief Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- To ensure correct and timely financial reporting to the Group and statutory authorities
- To liaise with various departments and perform variance analysis for all financial statements line items
- To design accounting policies and prepare monthly financial statements (Ind AS) along with the monthly projections
- To ensure compliance of financial reporting guidelines as per IRDAI and Ind AS requirements for Group reporting
- To perform analysis on financial reports, identify trends and develop improvement plans.
- To plan and ensure implementation of Insurance Accounting as per Ind AS 117 Insurance Contracts and other applicable Ind AS
- To implement Ind AS module and ensure Ind AS accounting entries are captured in the system.
- To execute projects related to automation of Reporting and Ind AS 117 and other applicable Ind AS.
Education/Experience:
- CA- with 4 years to 8 years of experience.
- IGAAP and Ind AS Standard knowledge
Functional Competencies:
- Insurance Accounting skills - Knowledge of Insurance Sector
- Other Basic Accounting skills
- Financial statements and reporting
- Regulatory knowledge
- Insurance/Financial Industry background preferred
