The ideal candidate should hold a Final Chartered Accountant (CA) or Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICWA) qualification, preferably with 3-4 years of relevant industry experience.
Here's a breakdown of the responsibilities:
- Period End Finalization of Accounts: Prepare and finalize financial statements in compliance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS).
- Audit Coordination: Liaise with Statutory Auditors during quarterly and year-end audits, ensuring smooth and timely completion of audit processes.
- Group Reporting & Fit For Consolidation (FFC) Certification: Provide accurate financial data for group reporting purposes, including certification through Hyperion software for consolidation.
- NPA Provisions and ECL Analysis: Handle Non-Performing Asset (NPA) provisions in accordance with Reserve Bank of India (RBI) norms, and prepare Expected Credit Loss (ECL) analytical data for both audit and management requirements.
- CARO 2020 Reporting: Ensure compliance with the Companies (Auditor's Report) Order, 2020 (CARO 2020) reporting requirements.
- Other Financial Reporting Tasks: Undertake any additional tasks associated with financial reporting as required by the organization.
- Tax Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate preparation and filing of various tax returns, including income tax, GST, and other indirect taxes.
- Coordinate with tax advisors and authorities to address any queries or assessments.
- Financial Analysis and Forecasting: Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making processes, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and forecasting.
- Provide insights into financial performance, key drivers, and potential risks and opportunities.
- Internal Controls and Compliance: Develop, implement, and monitor internal control procedures to safeguard assets, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and mitigate financial risks.
- Conduct periodic internal audits to assess the effectiveness of controls and recommend improvements.
- Treasury Management: Manage cash flow, liquidity, and investment activities to optimize the organization's financial resources.
- Monitor banking relationships, negotiate terms, and ensure compliance with treasury policies and procedures.
- Financial Systems and Process Improvement: Evaluate existing financial systems, processes, and procedures to identify opportunities for streamlining, automation, and efficiency improvements.
- Lead or contribute to projects aimed at enhancing financial reporting capabilities and internal controls.
- Stakeholder Communication and Relationship Management: Communicate financial results, forecasts, and insights to internal stakeholders, including senior management, board of directors, and business unit leaders.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with external stakeholders, such as auditors, regulators, and financial institutions.
