Responsibilities:
- Ideate and build a strategic content roadmap to support overall marketing goals, working alongside key stakeholders within marketing, sales and business leadership.
- Develop expertise of our products and brands across the group and create a framework to apply brand tone of voice to all marketing content
- Lead the development and delivery of the organisation organic social media strategy, tailored to each social channel's unique offering, functionality and audience, producing creative and engaging content
- Create a framework for content dissemination leveraging social media, email, SEO and other content marketing channels to gain readership and traction, working alongside digital marketing lead
- Take ownership of building an engaged community to promote the group's offerings, increase engagement and drive positive brand perception
- Build and lead a young and energetic content and social media team, creating exceptional-quality content that educates, engages, empowers and inspires our target audience while creating a sense of community
- Create the operational processes and team structure for development of best-in-class content including planning, writing, editing and publishing of content across whitepapers, blogs, product launches, social media posts, infographics, emails, web pages and press releases for onsite, social, influencer, TV, podcast, in-store and editorial placements
- Own and develop the content strategy for SEO to ensure the brand ranks highly for all relevant search terms, working in close conjunction with our SEO internal team and external partners to drive and execute these plans
- Build and maintain the content and social media calendar, with prioritization for execution.
- Partner with Marketing Analytics lead to build a robust framework for measurement of key content and social media performance metrics such as reach, traffic sources, audience engagement and contribution to leads
Ideal Candidate:
- Graduate or Post Graduate in Journalism, Communication, Public Relations or Creative Writing
- 6 - 10 years' experience in content and social media strategy with prior experience creating and leading a team (ideally publishing or corporate environment), preferably in B2C
- Prior experience setting up and managing a content and social media program
- Extremely detail-oriented with a demonstrable experience refining and implementing processes
- Strong execution focus with a penchant for prioritising and forecasting workload to manage a large scale content operations across a portfolio of companies
- Empathy for users and a knack for creative storytelling
- A creative bent of mind with an ability to translate technical content into engaging and thought-provoking messaging tailored to each channel
