JOB DESCRIPTION:

- Team/Department: Commercial (Chemical Sales, Stores & Purchase)

- Business & Location: FCB & SCB, Bhiwadi

- Reporting to: Head of Works, Bhiwadi

Principal Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

- Profitable Disposal of By-products

- Development of new customers and Dealers for maximum NPR.

- Appointment of Dealers & Transporters.

- Efficiently disposal of material for smooth operation of plants.

- Preparation of Sales Budgets and Collection Budget.

- Market Analysis

- Participation in Govt tender and deciding Pricing Strategies.

- Exercise control over selling and distribution expenses

- Ensures sales to parties as per Credit Policy

- Ensures timely collection of Sales tax Form C

- Negotiation of freight rates with Transporters and Dealers having their own tankers.

- Market feedback and monitoring of Competitors Activities.

- Participating and Influencing industry in price decision making.

Customers Satisfaction:

- Ensure safe and timely delivery of material.

- Ensure delivery of quality as per their requirement and Satisfaction

- Maintaining relationship with customers for smooth execution of orders.

Zero Plant Stoppage:

- No production loss For want of disposal of By-products.

- Sufficient arrange of transportation for disposal of By-products.

- Ensures achievement of Production target by timely of disposal of by products

- Keeping our associates motivated in selling our products against competition from large manufacturers.

Statutory Compliance:

- Ensure all vehicles should compliance with Motor Vehicles Act and Safety Rules for safe disposal of By-products.

No plant stoppage due to non availability of equipments and Spares:

- Develops long term relationships with domestic and International suppliers of equipment's and spares to be sourced from domestic and International markets at competitive rates.

- Develop new suppliers for supply of Mustard Husk to ensure smooth running of Husk Boiler throughout the year,

- Coordinates with CHAs for clearance of imported spares and equipments

- Arrange for storage of Bulk Raw material like Fluorspar within the factory.

Procurement at the most competitive prices through development of long term alliances with the suppliers:

- Negotiates prices with the suppliers keeping in mind the market scenario, company budget, strategic needs of the units.

- Guides the Senior Executive (Purchase) on negotiation strategy to be pursued for procurement of New equipments.

- Maintain long term relationship with the suppliers for equipments and spares.

- Files claims with the vendors for shortages and damages. Collects relevant supporting documents for filing claims with the insurance company

Vendor evaluation:

- Supervises design and conduct of vendor evaluation.

- Reviews resolution of suppliers' complaints. Guide team on specific tasks for enhancing vendor satisfaction.

Ensure no material is received in the plant without approved purchase order:

- Coordinate with the Sourcing team and purchase team for Purchase orders.

Ensures that approval of the material is done within defined time frame:

- Ensures that Daily receipt information is passed on to the internal customers and follows up for checking of material by the user departments.

- Ensures that approved materials are stored in proper location.

- Rejected materials are returned to the suppliers after getting confirmation from the Purchase department.

Ensure physical stock and book stock is matching for both RM and EM:

- To ensure that all materials required in plant for use are issued against issue slip (Move order in Oracle) only and the stock is updated on daily basis.

Ensure Scrap is managed in most efficient way:

- To ensure that scrap is stored at proper location.

- To negotiate with Scrap dealers for best price.

- To ensure scrap is lifted at regular intervals against advance payment.

Statutory compliances:

- Ensure disposal of used batteries and waste oil as per the statutory requirement
