Key Responsibilities :

- Drive Bank's Business Development and Alliance strategy to grow the bank's digital initiatives, with specific focus in the digital technology and digital commerce sectors.

- Drive and articulate positioning with key external strategic partners and within the digital commerce ecosystem.

- Identify and approach various entities in the digital commerce and digital technology space, through a solution based approach to resolve existing pain points in the value chain.

- Solution based approach towards alliances.

- Understanding the value chain of the prospective partner, and detailing out the pain points across the customer touch points.

- Solving for the pain points with a customized solution.

- Understanding technology requirements for integration and feeding it back to internal stakeholders.

- Financial modelling of the partnership to evaluate profitability and break-even.

- Negotiate and firm agreements with alliance partners to create a win-win partnership model.

- Constant review, monitoring and meaningful engagement with the partner at senior levels to ensure continuous overall growth and profitability.

- Roadmap development and growth around validation of all partnerships and investments.

- Help formulate and execute the three year plan for growth, partnership portfolio, investment, and overall innovation.

Key Requirements :

- 5+ years of experience in the business development and alliances vertical in an ecommerce company

- Indepth business and technical understanding of the digital commerce sector and the incumbents

- Strong existing relationships within the eCommerce sector is a value add

- Strong execution focus with a track record for accelerating growth and new market development through partnerships

- Possesses the self-confidence and unique insight required to navigate through ambiguity; constructively challenge conventional wisdom

- Prioritizes and organizes investment/resources against highest return opportunities through structured, process-driven approach
