Chief Manager/AGM - Product Life Cycle Management - Automobile

Job Description :

Major Areas of Responsibilities :

- Drive and lead all milestones of the lifecycle of the product Managing Design change management system

- Align with Quality improvement objectives of the organization, plan and manage the projects identified

- Promote positive change and continuous process improvement.

- Work closely with design, development and validation functions of R&D to arrive at high value low investment opportunities for problems identified

- Manage value engineering, value analysis projects and enhance the product Lifecyle Manage product upgrade projects of the organization

- Actively contribute to the teamwork concept, builds alliances among work units and cooperate effectively with others to achieve department and Operations objectives

- Demonstrate good time management and prioritization skills by responding positively to and meeting submittal deadlines

- Collaborate with factories, suppliers and critical component manufacturers for quality improvement initiatives over and above Implement processes like CREST, cost/benefit analysis to determine support approach for product lifecycle events.

Requirements :

- We are looking for a highly skilled product lifecycle management lead engineer who will manage the product

- Lifecyle of product while improving quality and enhancing value. He will be driving the design change management, value engineering, value analysis and quality improvement initiatives from R&D.

Essential Qualification - BE Mechanical

Experience : Minimum 11 years

Candidate Profile :

Level : Chief Manager/Assistant General Manager (designation is flexible and will be decided basis candidate suitability)

Education : BE Mechanical with first class throughout(10 + 2 + Graduation).

- Should have strong design engineering fundamentals

- Should have worked upon Value Engineering projects and value analysis

- Should have worked on Quality improvement projects

- Candidates from Automobile sector or industries which have product life cycle management & value engg departments can apply.

- In FMCD sector, candidates from multinational companies can apply.
