Position : Account Manager - Retail Asset Operations Group

Company : Large Private Sector Bank

Location : Hyderabad

Grade : Chief Manager

Requirements :

- Chartered Accountant with 7 to 13 years of experience

- Team handling Experience

- Good communication and presentation skills

- Knowledge of SAP & SOX Compliance

- Female candidates would be preferred

Key Responsibilities :

- Candidate will be required to play a leadership role and handle a team of professionals.

- The responsibilities will include accounting and taxation of the retail portfolio of the bank.

- Needs to be abreast of the recent changes in Accounting and Taxation guidelines impacting the relevant business line of the bank.

- Ability to influence significant stakeholders in other verticals, impacting the Retail accounting function.

- Ability to mentor the team and nurture and groom young talented professionals.

- Act as a sounding board to reflect the teams views to the next level of management.

- Ability to drive across views in challenging situations.

- Ensure that timelines are met in respect of Accounts closing and regulatory and taxation guidelines.

- Ability to multitask and work with short deadlines.

- Must possess an eye for detail.

- On an ongoing and ad-hoc basis, will be asked to lead and drive projects that may require collaboration with other central teams and operating teams.

- Ensure Implementation of SOX Controls, Evidencing and Submissions as required for the job performed.

- Operating in a complex system environment, will be required to bring innovative ideas to streamline manual process and drive efficient processes.

Required Skills :

- Must possess updated knowledge in relevant changed in Accounting and Taxation

- Must have strong analytical, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

- Ability to collaborate well across teams and functions.
