Hiring for a Financial Organisation

Mandatory experience required in SCRA (Securities Contract Regulatory Act), Capital Market, Regulatory Legal.

Base: Gift City, Gandhinagar, Gujarat

CTC: 50 lacs

Reporting to: CEO

Minimum: 15 Years experience

- Looking for candidate with LLB & good knowledge/understanding of SEBI Regulations from Capital Market domain.

Would be Responsible for:

Strategic Legal Leadership:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive legal strategy aligned with the company's business objectives.

- Proactively identify and assess potential legal risks across all business operations.

- Advise senior management on legal implications of key business decisions.

Compliance Oversight:

- Ensure adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, and internal compliance policies.

- Monitor compliance activities and implement corrective actions where necessary.

- Develop and deliver compliance training programs for employees.

Contract Management:

- Review, negotiate, and draft complex contracts with vendors, customers, and partners.

- Manage the contract lifecycle, including renewals and amendments.

Litigation Management:

- Oversee all legal disputes and litigation matters.

- Collaborate with external counsel to manage legal cases effectively.

Legal Team Leadership:

- Build and lead a high-performing legal team, including hiring, mentoring, and performance management.

- Delegate tasks and responsibilities appropriately within the legal team.

Stakeholder Engagement:

- Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, including senior management, business units, and other departments.

- Communicate legal risks and issues clearly and concisely to non-legal stakeholders.
