- The Chief Learning Officer (CLO) serves as a member of senior management and plans, directs, and evaluates the strategic initiatives in professional development and life long learning programs. The CLO is responsible for the identification, development, and implementation of scientific methods,instructional strategies, and learning technologies in the design, implementation, and evaluation of professional development activities

- He will draw-in top industry-wide experience in building a world-class academy that will produce job-specific skilled talent, employable in either of their businesses or in the industry.

- He will devise a strong mechanism to understand the pressing needs of the industry for trained and skilled talent. The learning academy will also cater to the internal training needs of the employees.

Experience: 20 - 25 years of hardcore learning, training and skill development experience in corporates or institutions.

Relevant sectors : Experience of working with skill development institutions, universities, professional training and development academies, consumer retail services sector like large format retail supermarket chains, clothing & apparels chains, electronics and white goods chains where front-end employees are trained on various skills depending on the work platforms.

Expertise: learning & development, devising structured programs for skill development, training need identification, competency development, communication and people management.
