Position: Chief Investment Officer - Niche Venture Capital Funding Co

Role:

- Finetune and drive the long-term strategy for the funds.

- Lead the selection of investments.

- Lead the launch of new funds including fundraising from investors, regulatory compliance, legal structuring, etc.

- Ensure the compliance as per fund guidelines, all applicable laws and regulatory requirements.

- Laise with regulatory authorities, lawyers and other advisors.

- Cultivate and maintain relationships with investors.

- Ensure prudent risk management frameworks are in place and are strictly adhered to.

- Lead and build a high performing investment team.

Requirements:

- MBA (Premier Institute)/ CA.

- 20+ yrs of experience with at least 10+ yrs in a senior investment leadership role in PE/ VC Funds in direct investing and in investing in PE or VC Funds.

- Experience in launching new funds including managing fund raising for the funds and in managing investor relationships.

- Good understanding of the landscape of PE/ VC Funds in India.

- Experience in handling a large P&L responsibility.

- Good knowledge of risk management, regulations regarding funds and compliance requirements for funds.
