Job Objective - A Key Security leadership role ( strategic and tactical) to ensure that the organization manages, addresses, sets policy and direction within its IT/IS environment and operates in a compliant, consistent and secure manner - thus safeguarding the organization and its customers interests - Ensure compliance with regulatory and Certification bodies - To work in a in a leadership role responsible for driving and ensuring compliance to DoT and TRAI - Guidelines (GK Committee recommendations, Cyber Security Framework etc) - Manage and interact with vendors, suppliers, service providers providing Information security implementation and managed services such as Security Operations Center (SOC) - Maintain Industry relations and stay up to date with the latest trends in technology and security landscape Key Responsibilities - Establish, implement and monitor a strategic, comprehensive enterprise information security and IT risk management program - Work directly with the business units to facilitate risk assessment and risk management processes - Develop and enhance an information security management framework - Understand and interact with related disciplines through committees to ensure the consistent application of policies and standards across all technology projects, systems and services - Provide leadership to the enterprise's information security organization - Partner with business stakeholders across the company to raise awareness of risk management concerns - Assist with the overall business technology planning, providing a current knowledge and future vision of technology and systems - Conduct regular internal audits in compliance with applicable legal and contractual requirements, international guidelines and companies internal requirements - Conduct regular Management reviews and update the management on information security aspects. The MRMs shall also focus on drawing Management attentions to the key areas for required management actions. - CISO is also responsible to ensure customer audits as well as re-certification and surveillance audits and successful. - CISO shall ensure the information incidents are responded and resolved on time to ensure compliance with legal and contractual requirements. Desired Skills &amp; Qualification The ideal candidate must have: - 18 years of experience or more in Information Security (including IT security), IT audits or related areas - international experience, especially from work within a global BPO organisation with virtual teams - security certification, such as - CISSP, CISA, CISM, CRISC, CEH - experience of being management representative for security KPIs - experience in handling cyber incidents, forensics coordination - technical orientation of complex IT infrastructure (Endpoints, Servers, Network, Application (Web based, COTS, Custom built etc.)
