Chief Information Security Officer (CISO)

The Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the companys information security strategy to safeguard organizational data, systems, and assets. The CISO will lead the cybersecurity team, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and promoting a culture of security awareness across the organization.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive information security strategy aligned with business objectives.

- Establish and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures.

- Oversee the management of security operations, including threat detection, incident response, and vulnerability management.

- Ensure compliance with relevant security frameworks, laws, and regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001).

- Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend corrective actions.

- Manage security budgets, resources, and third-party vendor relationships.

- Develop and deliver security training programs to promote a culture of security awareness.

- Report security metrics and risk assessments to executive leadership and the board.

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (masters preferred).

- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or equivalent will be preferred.

- Extensive knowledge of information security frameworks, standards, and best practices.
