Chief Information Officer
About the Opportunity :
The CIO will be a strategic business partner re-charter the growth trajectory, focus on scaling up the business and to help transform the organization to a high-performing, scalable, technologically enabled digital organization.
Job Purpose :
- The CIO will work closely with MD & CEO and the Board to enable alignment of Business Strategy and IT and build competitive advantage through innovative use of Technology, lead the digital transformation catering to both current and future business needs and will be responsible for organization-wide technological functions and systems.
- Leadership skills to lead both vendor and in-house technology teams to drive decisions on build vs buy on products and applications related to the Housing Finance Company.
Principal Accountabilities :
- Overall Technology Leader for the company and a key member of the senior management team
- Drive the IT Strategy, IT Architecture, and Digital Roadmap for the firm.
- Translate the company's overall vision into a series of technology objectives, digital journey and laying down the roadmap to achieve these objectives and executing the resulting plan
- Create an organization-wide technology culture and display leadership capabilities in driving building and retaining a core engineering team.
Measure of Success :
- Implementation of the most efficient technology architecture and refining existing infrastructure for optimal utilization of resources.
- Drive transformation of the organization to a digital and data focus
- Effective enhancement and modernization of technical advancement
- Effective IT strategy, architecture and roll-out plan
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Maintain and drive the organization-wide digitalization and technology transformation.
- Ensuring technologies are used efficiently, profitably, and securely.
- Optimizing the IT spend and managing vendor negotiations to bring in efficiencies on the yearly IT budget
- Implementing new systems and infrastructure - Data, Analytics, Cloud, etc.
- Well-versed in LOS/ LMS implementation and scale up.
- Lead and implement new technologies that yield a competitive advantage around customer acquisition, customer journey, credit, risk, instant decisioning, etc.
- Monitor KPIs and IT Budget to assess technological performance.
- Manage Third-party technology vendors.
- Development of Strategic IT projects in the organization.

Pre-Requisites :
Qualification, Experience Competencies and Skills:
- BE/ B. Tech from a reputed University, preferably in Computer Science
- Minimum 12-18 years' experience in leadership roles managing the technology function in a large NBFC, HFC, Fintech or banking sector
- Experience in the implementation of large transformational IT project with exposure to platform development and analytics
- Experience in designing and implementing Digital journey of the organization
- Hands-on technologist with strong business acumen
