Role - CIO (Corporate IT)

Location: New Delhi

Reporting: CFO

A. Purpose:

- Drive the company's technology strategy, ensuring efficient IT operations, and enabling innovation across the business.

- Strategic Drive towards Business with Latest Technology and Cost Effective, Innovative IT Solution with automation for effective MIS And Controls

- Drive and bring the digital transformation of the company, supporting key business processes, integrating smart technologies, and enhancing customer experience.

B. Responsibilities:

B1. Principal Accountabilities:

B.1.1 Technology Strategy & Leadership:

- Develop and implement the company's IT strategy, aligning with overall business goals, particularly in the renewable energy sector.

- Build the IT Architecture for the company.

- Lead the company's digital transformation initiatives, leveraging emerging technologies like IoT, AI, and smart grid systems.

- Drive innovation and process improvements, integrating IT solutions across solar and thermal power operations.

- Collaborate with senior management to identify technology needs, set priorities, and allocate resources effectively.

- Develop Tech stacks basis the needs of the organization

- Strategies for the use of AI in Business operations

- Develop tech solutions for various plant operations

- Develop overall efficiency of the plant by bringing the latest technology which can fit into our requirements.

- Develop customized communication tools for the organization

- Restructure entire operations with the latest Tech solutions

B.1.2 IT Infrastructure & Operations:

- Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and upgrading of IT infrastructure, ensuring robust and scalable systems for both office and field operations.

- Ensure the integration of renewable energy management systems (SCADA, energy management platforms) into the IT framework.

- Manage IT services, including networks, servers, databases, and software, ensuring minimal downtime and high availability.

B1.3 Cybersecurity & Compliance:

- Establish a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy to safeguard the company's data, systems, and operations against internal and external threats.

- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory standards, especially concerning data protection, energy, and environmental regulations.

- Manage risk assessments and disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity in case of any IT disruptions.

B.1.4 Team Leadership & Development:

- Build, manage, and mentor a high-performing IT team, ensuring the right skills are in place to meet the company's current and future technology needs.

- Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the IT department, staying ahead of industry trends and new technologies.

- Coordinate with external vendors, consultants, and service providers to ensure the delivery of efficient IT solutions.

B.1.5 Project Management & Execution:

- Lead the implementation of IT projects, including enterprise software systems, cloud solutions, and technology-driven sustainability initiatives.

- Manage timelines, budgets, and resources for IT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.

- Oversee the adoption of smart technology solutions, such as predictive analytics for solar/thermal operations, to enhance operational efficiency.

B.1.6 Sustainability & Innovation:

- Explore and implement technology solutions that support sustainability goals, such as reducing energy consumption and optimizing renewable energy generation.

- Drive the integration of advanced energy management systems, automation, and smart technologies to support sustainable energy production and consumption.

C. Education:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- A Master's degree or MBA is preferred.

D. Experience range: Minimum of 15 years of experience in IT, with at least 7 years in a senior leadership role.

- Estimating and establishing cost parameters, budgets, and potential ROI.

- Collaborating with the leadership team to create long-term plans and improvements.

- Providing support and mentorship to IT team members.

- Creating and customizing technology systems for optimized performance.

- Sourcing and Buying technology software, equipment, and accessories for the company by selecting the right suitable vendors.

- Implementing technology to streamline internal operations and optimize strategic benefits.

- Ensuring the company's technological processes and services comply with all requirements, laws, and regulations.

- Evaluate Best Practices and Implement the Same Wherever Necessary.

- Periodical Evaluation of Controls and tightening / implementation of the same.

- Implement the Commercial, Accounting, Legal, and Taxation Standards / Rules through the Systems.

- Effective MIS Generation with Minimum Effort and Duplication of Effort.

- SAP ERP Package implementation, and improvements.

- Support Factories and other locations for smooth IT Operations.

- Hardware Procurement & Maintenance.

- Software (other than SAP) procurement, development and implementation.

- Vendor Development.

- LAN / WAN uptime.

- Support Internet and Email for all locations.

- Development, implementation, and improvement of existing and new portals, IT systems

Knowledge & Qualification:

- Use Of IT As Strategic Tool, Entire Software Development Life Cycle.

- SAP S4HANA Mandatory

- Overall 18 - 20 Years. Exposure in Large Manufacturing Industry With Wide Spread Offices And Sufficient Complexity.
