Chief Information Officer - FMCG

- Contribute to business planning regarding technology and systems required to maintain company operations and competitiveness

- Formulate and drive the annual business plan and annual activity plan for the function

- Ensure adherence to departmental budgets

- Establish long-term need for information systems, and plan strategy for developing systems and acquiring hardware to meet application needs

- Function as top level consultant to assist end users in determining IT requirements and solutions

- Ensure timely installation and smooth rollout of the IT application in all new branches

- Ensure confidentiality and reliability of corporate data, proprietary information, and intellectual property

- Prepare the IT department budget along with business

- Formulate IT policy and IT security policy.

- Develop guidelines / procedures for IT security / data security / LAN Management etc.

- Ensure optimum uptime for Networks, Servers, Data Centers, Power distribution (UPS), mailing system, .Net and other enterprise applications

- Ensure accurate submission of new application requirements to projects team for IT needs in new projects / expansions

- Undertake automation initiatives for improvement of processes in various user departments.

- Enhance IT infrastructure and systems related perspective in the organization by enabling dissemination of information thorough news bulletins and training programs

- Facilitate up-scaling and up-skilling of the IT function to train and support end-users.

- Improve awareness of information security amongst all employees in the organization.
