We are looking for Head of HR/IR for a large conglomerate based out of Jamshedpur. As the Head of HR/IR , the incumbent will be responsible for developing and implementing effective HR and IR strategies to support the organization's overall objectives.
IR/ER RESPONSIBILITIES :
1. Labor Relations Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive industrial relations strategies that align with the organization's goals. Provide guidance on labor-related matters to senior management.
2. Union and Work Council Management: Manage relationships with unions and work councils, fostering positive and collaborative partnerships. Lead negotiations for collective bargaining agreements, addressing terms and conditions of employment.
3. Conflict Resolution: Proactively identify potential labor disputes and implement strategies to prevent or resolve conflicts. Lead investigations into employee grievances and disputes, ensuring fair and equitable resolutions.
4. Legal Compliance: Stay abreast of changes in labor laws and regulations, ensuring the organization's compliance. Provide expert advice on legal implications of labor-related decisions.
5. Communication and Advocacy: Effectively communicate with employees, union representatives, and other stakeholders. Act as the primary advocate for the organization in labor-related matters.
6. Negotiation and Mediation: Lead negotiations during collective bargaining sessions, representing the organization's interests. Utilize mediation skills to facilitate agreements and resolve disputes in a mutually beneficial manner.
7. Policy Development: Develop and update policies related to industrial relations, ensuring alignment with legal requirements and organizational objectives.
HR RESPONSIBILITIES :
Strategic HR Planning :
1. Develop and implement HR strategies in alignment with the organization's overall business objectives. Provide strategic guidance on workforce planning, talent acquisition, and succession planning.
2. Talent Acquisition and Management: Lead the recruitment and onboarding processes to attract and retain top talent. Develop and implement talent management strategies, including employee development, training, and career planning.
3. Performance Management: Design and implement performance management systems to drive employee performance and development.
4. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to employees and managers.
Qualification & Skills :
- MBA in HR/IR .Extensive experience in IR and HR roles, with a proven track record of strategic leadership and managing plants .
- Strong understanding of labor laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a high-performing HR /IR team.
- Proficient in HRIS and other relevant HR technologies.
- Compensation will be at par with Industry Standards
