Position Overview :
The Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO) is responsible for developing and executing human resource strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization, specifically in the areas of talent management, change management, organizational and performance management, training and development and compensation.
Prime Responsibilities :
- Establish HR practices that effectively communicate and support the vision and strategy.
- Develop and execute HR plans and strategies to support the achievement of the overall business objectives.
- Develop comprehensive Talent acquisition, Development, and Retention plans to meet the Human capital needs of the organisation
- Develop and implement comprehensive Compensation and Benefits plans that are competitive and cost-effective for the company.
- Provide overall leadership and guidance to the HR function by overseeing Talent acquisition, Career Development, Succession Planning, Employee Engagement, leadership development, Compensation and Benefits.
Qualifications / Competencies :
Education and Experience :
- Graduate with MBA in Human resources from a premier Institute and having 14+ years relevant experience in FMCG/Consumer durable industry. Exposure to plant and sales and marketing set up in HR & IR essential.
Competencies/skills :
- Candidate must be a credible expert who could build relationship of trust with other leaders in the organization and have a clear point of view about how to build business performance
- Must be adept in managing talent who can align HR strategies and tactics with organizational goals
- Should be demonstrating operational expertise in establishing and rolling out new age HR practices
- Should be a Change champion to initiate and sustain change at the individual and institutional levels
- Must be a technology proponent to use technology for efficiency to connect employees and to leverage new communication channels
