Job Description
We are seeking a visionary and transformational Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) to lead our people and culture agenda in alignment with our organizational mission. This role is critical in enabling sustainable business growth, fostering innovation, and ensuring exceptional employee experience across all levels of the organization.
Job Responsibilities:
HR Strategy & Leadership
- Define and execute the company's human capital strategy in line with long-term business objectives.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and coach to the CEO and senior leadership team on all talent and workforce-related matters.
- Lead the transformation of HR from a transactional function to a strategic business partner with measurable impact on organizational performance.
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment strategies to attract top-tier talent across verticals including sales, operations, technology, finance, and compliance.
- Build a strong employer brand to position the company as a preferred workplace in the financial services ecosystem.
- Anticipate future talent needs and build robust succession planning and workforce forecasting models.
Talent Management & Organizational Development
- Design and implement performance management frameworks that drive high performance, continuous feedback, and career progression.
- Build and lead initiatives on learning and development, leadership training, mentorship programs, and internal mobility.
- Promote a learning culture that fosters upskilling, reskilling, and digital readiness.
Employee Experience & Culture Building
- Champion a strong and inclusive organizational culture that promotes integrity, collaboration, customer focus, and innovation.
- Design and implement employee engagement surveys, action plans, and wellness programs to improve employee satisfaction and retention.
- Address employee grievances with empathy, ensuring transparency, fairness, and timely resolution.
Compensation, Rewards & Benefits
- Define compensation philosophy and develop competitive pay structures, incentive schemes, and recognition programs aligned with business goals.
- Administer and optimize employee benefits, variable pay, and ESOP plans to attract and retain key talent.
- Ensure transparency in compensation practices while maintaining internal parity and external competitiveness.
HR Compliance, Governance & Risk
- Ensure all HR practices, policies, and documentation comply with applicable labor laws, SEBI regulations (where applicable), and financial sector norms.
- Mitigate people-related risks through audits, policy reviews, and proactive compliance mechanisms.
- Oversee HRMS implementation and data-driven reporting for workforce analytics and decision-making.
Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI)
- Create and implement DEI strategies to foster a diverse and inclusive workplace.
- Promote initiatives that support gender diversity, accessibility, and equal opportunity employment.
Candidate Details
- Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline (MBA/PGDM preferred).
- 15+ years of HR leadership experience, with a proven track record in scaling HR functions in mid to large-sized organizations.
- Prior experience in NBFC, FinTech, banking, or other regulated financial institutions is highly desirable.
- Hands-on experience in leading HR in fast-paced, high-growth, or transformation-phase environments.
- Deep understanding of modern HR technologies, HRMS systems, and data analytics for HR decision-making.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and change management skills.
