Role Definition - _Chief Growth Officer
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
- As the Chief Growth Officer, the candidate will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and expansion of our company. We are looking for a growth leader with a demonstrated track record of increasing revenue, market share, and brand presence for a brand/ category or business.
- As chief growth officer you will be directly accountable for the results delivery of business development, sales and marketing, including through analyzing and understanding customer behavior and market trends. Lead strategic initiatives.
- You will report to the Managing Director and be part of the core senior team including other CXOs and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: The role has a 3-4-member team with direct reporting
1. Business Development:
- Identify and execute in new and existing markets and catchments to expand customer base
- Analyze and expand existing and enter new markets through establishment of stores, doorstep, counter and other service channels.
- Develop collaborations with lifestyle companies loved by our customer base to promote services adoption and cross-sell opportunities.
2. Growth Strategy & Delivery:
- Identify growth drivers for the business mix to develop new offerings and services
- Build operating model, investment and results plan for new initiatives
- Own business goals delivery for annual plan
- Maintain monthly spends budgeting and impact tracking/ reporting
3. Marketing Strategy & Execution:
- Build and execute strategic plan for digital marketing including performance marketing
- Drive customer connects for feedback gathering and delivering service excellence
- Collaborate with marketing agencies to drive accountability on spends and results
- Design monthly calendar on promotions, advertising and drive spends efficiency
- Design and develop CRM initiatives across brand platforms like web, app, whatsapp and social media
- Network Planning & Performance: Work with analytics team/ agency and Operations team to plan or modify operating network for new stores and home delivery services
- Run network performance audits and assessments by store format
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Demonstrated achievement in prior positions in Sales/ Marketing/ Growth Hacking/ Category or Brand management
- Experience executing on growth mandates - _revenue, market share, customer acquisition
- Good knowledge and understanding of digital marketing platforms and tools
- Experience and understanding of retail (services); quick commerce logistics
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- Absolute integrity, trustworthiness and transparency
- 8-10 years relevant experience preferably in high growth organizations
- Education: MBA or equivalent from a reputed university in India or abroad
