We are currently looking for a Chief General Manager- Tendering & Strategy for One of the leading Power sector EPC and Transformer Manufacturing company for their corporate office in Greater Noida.

Company Profile:

Our client is a STAR PERFORMER company with EPC, transformer designing and manufacturing capabilities. The Company has undertaken Engineering, Procurement and Construction ("EPC") projects relating to construction of substations for transmission and distribution of electric power and erection and commissioning of transmission and distribution lines. In such power sector EPC projects besides supplying transformers, they also typically undertake designing, procurement, erection, testing and commissioning of sub-stations, along with operation and maintenance of such substations on a turn-key basis and erection and commissioning of transmission and distribution lines for setting up transmission and distribution electricity networks up to 400KV class. The Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India has recognized his Company as a 'Star Export House'. The company has also been awarded "Star Performer Award" by the Engineering Exports Promotional Council of India for Fiscal 2007-08, 2008-09, 2009-10, 2010-11 and again Company has been awarded "Top Exporter Gold Trophy for the Year 2011-12 for medium Enterprise from EEPC India on 15th March 2013& thus bagging the prestigious award for 5th year in succession.

Job Profile:

Coordination with site-project managers and contractors, looking over all projects coordination from Head Office, about projects and decision on technical issues, on Drawings and Design, techno commercial evaluation of tenders and bids participation, contractors and suppliers selections, clients correspondence, material requirement, inspection and dispatches to site, suppliers & contractors bill processing, releasing Work Orders, Billing, Cash Flow monitoring, Bill follow-up and others as detailed below:

Tendering & BOQ finalization: Rates study for supply & erection works, finalization of rates for contractors & suppliers.

Contract Management and Control: Prepare detailed implementation planning and time schedule, co-ordinate with internal departments. Monitor and review the progress of the project, establish contracts & subcontract management procedures.

Contract administration throughout the project lifecycle, work orders, scope of work, time extensions, price variation, WO Amendment etc).

Negotiation with the clients for change in work orders for issuance of necessary amendment for final BOQ & time extension.

Tendering, Bid Preparation & Procurement for Power Distribution, HV Substation 220/132/33 KV & 132/25KV Traction Substations for RGGVY Projects and Transmission Lines up to 400KV

Qualification: BE/ Btech with experience in handling Power Projects, more so in Rural Electrification projects.

Location: Greater Noida

Salary: Best in the Industry (Could range around Rs.25 LPA or more)
