Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for directing and overseeing the financial operations, strategy, and planning of the organization. This includes managing accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, risk management, and compliance to ensure the company's financial health and long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Financial Leadership:
- Develop and implement the financial strategy aligned with the organization's overall goals and objectives.
- Advise the CEO, executive team, and board of directors on financial planning, budgeting, cash flow, and policy matters.
- Identify and evaluate opportunities for mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships.
Financial Planning and Analysis:
- Oversee the development and implementation of annual budgets, financial forecasts, and long-term planning.
- Provide timely and accurate financial analysis and insights to support decision-making.
- Monitor key financial KPIs and recommend actions to achieve business targets.
Accounting and Compliance:
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial statements in compliance with GAAP, IFRS, or relevant standards.
- Lead all audit processes (internal and external) and ensure compliance with regulatory and legal requirements.
- Manage tax planning, filing, and compliance in collaboration with external advisors.
Risk Management:
- Identify financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.
- Oversee treasury operations, including cash flow management, investments, and debt financing.
- Safeguard company assets through robust internal controls and financial governance.
Operational Leadership:
- Lead and mentor the finance team to achieve high performance and professional growth.
- Drive efficiency through financial process automation and use of technology.
- Collaborate with other departments to align financial objectives with operational needs.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education and Experience:
- CA certification is strongly preferred.
- Proven experience (18+ years) in senior financial leadership roles, ideally within [insert industry].

- Deep knowledge of financial regulations, compliance, and reporting standards.
