Job Description :

Accounting, Audit, MIS :

- Heading entire accounting related work like monitoring & supervision of accounts.

- Designing and implementing systems & procedures and preparation of financial statements & annual reports.

- Working Knowledge of IndAS

- Liaising with statutory / internal auditors etc for timely completion of audits as well as implementation of audit observations.

- Supervising the preparation of periodical MIS reports to provide feedback to top management on financial performance and decision support system; and appraising the JV Partners in terms of SHA.

- Determining financial objectives, designing & implementing systems, policies procedures to facilitate internal financial controls.

- Developing and maintaining adequate internal control system, preparing annual and periodic financial results, submitting them to the management for review and control the finances.

- Making recommendations to the management in order to ensure that accounts are prepared and maintained in conformity with statutory obligations.

Fund Management &; Budgeting :

- Working capital management, ensuring timely compliance with and keeping track of remittances to be made under Franchise Agreement, tax laws, expenditure contracts

- Monitoring timely payment under borrowing arrangements

- Fund management, identifying suitable avenues to optimize yield on idle funds

- Compliance with the terms of borrowing arrangements

- Refinancing of existing borrowings to optimize cost

- Liaising and negotiating with banks and financial institutions for raising fund and non-fund based facilities to meet working capital and long term requirements.

- Formulating budgets (seasonal / annual / long term) and maintaining a robust financial model

- Conducting variance analysis to determine difference between projected figures &; actual expenditure, generating periodic MIS and leading implementation of corrective actions, furnishing periodic reports on cash flow.

- Taxation, Regulatory &; Contractual Compliance

- Ensuring compliance with IT, GST, Customs etc

- Knowledge of compliance with regard to withholding of taxes in respect of contracts with foreign consultants, contractors, service providers etc

- Knowledge of FEMA and RBI procedures with regard to handle payments to foreign consultants, contractors, service providers etc.

- Filing of Returns under various tax laws, keeping track and handling of assessments/appeals for a logical conclusion.

- Preparing and finalizing tax audits

- Ensuring all compliances under the Regulatory Acts and other statutory bodies.

Negotiation &; Contract Management :

- Monitoring compliance with the terms of Franchise Agreement

- Ensuring Franchise Agreement related compliance in the onward/further /downstream contracts with players, consultants, sponsors, ad agencies, etc

- Negotiation of commercial terms for optimization of revenue / expenditure contracts in line with the business model of the Company,

- Negotiating with insurance companies to identify and procure risk covers, finalizing premium rates, lodgment and settlement of the claims,
