Chief Financial Officer - Retail/Lifestyle

Position Title - Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Reporting To - Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Location - Delhi

Job Purpose:

- To ensure day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial & related activities of the company.

- To be responsible for Accounting, Finance, Forecasting, Strategic Planning, Fund Management, Legal, Deal Analysis, Negotiations, Investor Relations and Stake Holder Management.

- To be responsible for Management & Control of company's Annual Budget.

- To develop and implement a Risk Management Policy for the company.

Key Deliverables:

1. To assist in formulating the company's future direction and supporting tactical initiatives

2. To participate in key decisions as a member of the Management team

3. To monitor and direct the implementation of strategic business plans

4. To develop financial and tax strategies for the company

5. To manage capital requirement and budgeting process

6. To develop performance measures that support the Company's strategic direction

7. To assess company's performance against its annual budget and long term strategy

8. To develop tools and systems to provide critical financial and operational information to Management

9. To establish yearly objectives and goals for the Company

10. To build systems and procedure to mitigate risks

11. To carry out asset liability management

12. To oversee long term budgetary planning and cost management in alignment with the organization strategic plan.

13. To effectively plan for resources and mobilization in line with requirements of the Company

14. To finalize Annual Budgets and Accounts

15. To ensure compliance with appropriate accounting standards, regulatory and statutory requirements

16. To maintain internal controls and safeguards

17. To manage cash flows and forecasting

18. To optimize the handling of Banking relationship

19. To oversee budgeting and implementation of budgets so as to monitor progress and present financial metrics both internally and externally

20. To monitor company's performance in keeping with investments guidelines laid down by the Management

21. To represent company with investment bankers and investors

22. To optimum ROCI (Return on Capital invested)

23. To enable and ensure delivery of Revenue & EBIDTA as per plan

24. To ensure collections performance for planned cash flows

25. To build cost optimization programs and implement the same to reduce costs (review & renewal of maintenance contracts, licenses & membership cost, Manpower Cost, etc.).

4. Knowledge of tax laws, import laws and allied practices.

5. Sound Knowledge of accounting, commercial aspects and import business practices.

6. Demonstrated success of operational excellence in areas of Commercial, Banking, Forex Management, Procurement, Supply Chain, Taxation and Legal.

7. Must possess excellent negotiation, analytical and interpersonal skills. Good leadership & team player qualities.

8. Ability to effectively manage sponsor, Banks, Board of Directors and Financial Advisor relationships

9. Personal authority and integrity with proven ability to establish relationships and exert influence at the organizational level. Should posses independence, robust ethics and resilience.

10. High level of performance with uncompromising standards of integrity

11. Ability to lead team towards desired common goals

12. Able to display a high degree of confidentiality and discretion
