Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Financial Leadership:

- Develop and execute the financial strategy to support the company's overall business objectives.

- Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and executive management team.

- Lead long-term financial planning and analysis to inform business decisions and drive company growth.

2. IPO Preparation and Execution:

- Oversee and manage the process of preparing the company for an Initial Public Offering (IPO).

- Collaborate with investment banks, legal teams, auditors, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and successful listing.

- Develop and present financial models, projections, and key financial metrics to potential investors.

3. Financial Management and Reporting:

- Direct and oversee all aspects of the Finance & Accounting functions of the organization.

- Ensure the preparation and timely delivery of accurate financial statements and reports.

- Implement robust financial controls, systems, and processes to safeguard company assets.

4. Budgeting and Forecasting:

- Lead the annual budgeting process and monthly forecasting.

- Monitor and analyze financial performance against budget and forecast, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

5. Risk Management:

- Identify and manage financial risks, including market, credit, operational, and regulatory risks.

- Develop strategies to mitigate risks and ensure business continuity.

6. Compliance and Governance:

- Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and corporate governance requirements.

- Oversee internal and external audits, ensuring prompt resolution of audit findings.

7. Investor Relations:

- Act as the primary contact for shareholders and investors, maintaining transparent and effective communication.

- Prepare and present financial information to the Board of Directors, investors, and other stakeholders.

8. Team Leadership and Development:

- Build and lead a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

- Mentor and develop team members, providing opportunities for professional growth and development.

Qualifications and Skills :

- Education: CA, CPA, MBA in Finance, or equivalent advanced degree.

- Experience: Minimum of 15 years of progressively responsible financial leadership experience, including experience in a retail environment.

- IPO Experience: Proven track record of successfully taking a company public and navigating the IPO process.

- Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of financial markets, investment strategies, and financial instruments.

- Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.

- Leadership: Demonstrated leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.

- Communication: Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly and concisely.

- Compliance Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of Indian financial regulations and compliance requirements.
