Role & Responsibilities:
Corporate Restructuring:
- Leadership in Strategic Transactions: Lead and manage mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and other significant corporate transactions.
- Ensure alignment with the company's strategic goals and long-term vision.
- Financial Due Diligence: Oversee comprehensive financial due diligence processes for potential mergers and acquisitions, ensuring thorough evaluation of financial health and risks.
- Valuation and Analysis: Conduct detailed valuations of assets, businesses, and investment opportunities to support decision-making in restructuring and strategic transactions.
Strategic Financial Management:
- Financial Strategy Development: Formulate and implement robust financial strategies and restructuring plans that align with the company's growth objectives and enhance financial stability.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Oversee the budgeting process, develop financial forecasts, and ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial performance.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis to guide strategic decisions.
- Risk Management: Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Ensure effective internal controls and compliance with financial regulations and standards.
Leadership and Team Management:
- Team Development: Build and mentor a high-performing finance team.
- Foster a collaborative environment that encourages professional growth and operational excellence.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other senior executives and departments to align financial strategies with broader business objectives.
- Ensure effective communication and coordination across the organization.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Investor Relations: Manage relationships with investors, analysts, and other key stakeholders.
- Provide transparent and comprehensive financial information and insights to maintain investor confidence and support capital raising efforts.
- Board Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports and strategic recommendations to the Board of Directors.
- Ensure that the Board is well-informed about the company's financial position and key strategic initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) Qualification: Essential for this role.
- The candidate must hold a CA qualification, demonstrating a high level of expertise in financial management and accounting principles.
- Experience: Minimum of 18-20 years of extensive experience in financial management, corporate restructuring, and strategic financial planning.
- Proven track record of managing complex financial transformations and leading successful restructuring initiatives.
Skills: Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Ability to synthesize complex financial information and develop actionable insights.
- Strong leadership capabilities with a focus on team development and cross-functional collaboration.
