Hiring for Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with Leading Micro Retail Company

Position: Chief Financial Officer

Qualification: CA

Location: Mumbai 

Experience: 9 Years to 15 Years

CTC - Upto 36 Lacs

Key requirements for the role -

- Have worked with a start-up / mid-tier company

- Looked at daily accounting, MIS, Investor reporting, etc.

- Got his hands dirty in the trenches, fixed problems, managing cash flows

- Done a bit of equity and/or debt raise.

- Managed and built banking relationships for WC and Term Loans

- Has built a team below him (important) and led it for a while, through scale up

- A go-getter / problem solver, someone who can get the job done

- Has good technical skills and can understand tax, cash flow management, etc.

- CA with around 10 - 15 years exp, CTC in the range of 36 L pa + Esops

Responsibilities:

- Create and present financial and tax strategy recommendations to CEO

- Support the financial planning and analysis efforts.

- Oversee cash flow, cash management, working capital, & company audits

- Prepare financial statements and reports. Make sure that the company's finances are accurate, the financial report is authentic and must be completed in a timely manner.

- Ensure legal compliance on all financial functions and making sure that the company is in compliance of all regulations

- Manage relationships with banks

- Grow company to the next level through planning & managing of all Finance & Accounts including Banking, Treasury and Tax

- Implement robust financial processes with growth as the key driver

- Strategic management of investors; management of growth as structure change wrt volumes, value, all India reach, collections, etc.

- Directly drive process controls & improvements, strategic initiatives & efficiency building

- Consolidate corporate accounts, Income tax planning, indirect tax, GST, TDS, etc.

- Liaise with Banks & NBFCs for working capital, term loan; run processes, make financial models, check caveats in proposals; run valuation exercise

- Responsible for audit, procurement & all money matters for financial controls; oversee company secretarial
