Chief Financial Officer - Manufacturing Firm

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic formulation & Implementation:

- Creating and directing financial plans in accordance with the strategic business plan, as well as capturing market opportunities related to company growth and direction.

- Make strategic recommendations to the company's management and Board of Directors.

- Obtain Board approval for the company's long-term and short-term strategies, as well as funding for investment.

Monthly performance evaluation:

- Comprehensive monthly performance analysis and submission of variance analysis vs. budget and forecast to management for decision-making.

- Monthly operational KPI tracking, such as rejection, inventory, and expense control.

Yearly Budget & Monthly forecast:

- Manage the processes for the annual budget and monthly forecast , with all fiscal reports such as profit and loss, cash flow statement, and balance sheet. Size down the budget to reflect product and customer profitability.

Financial Operations:

- Accounting, Credit Control, Cash Flow, Tax, Insurance, Treasury, and Foreign Exchange.

- Establish and maintain positive relationships with banks, credit rating agencies, and other financial institutions.

- Working capital management to ensure adequate liquidity in the system and the availability of non-fund- based limits as needed by the business.

- Oversee the EBITDA improvement project, which includes cost control and cost reduction.

Commercial Approvals:

- Ensuring that profit margins are kept within budgetary constraints for both the product and the customer.

- Working with the sales head and formalizing pricing strategies followed by actualization and cost-benefit analysis.

Legal & Compliances:

- Compliance stewardship in respect of Company Law, RBI, Taxation, and other statutes.

- Agreement management for vendors, customers & JV partners.

- Litigation management for recovery etc.

- Risk management with ERM framework (Enterprises Risk Management).
