Job Description :

- Develop and drive effective implementation of the organization's financial strategy, policies and processes in line with overall business objectives and growth plans

- Monitor financial performance, manage financial risks, oversee activities such as raising and allocation of funds, accounting, treasury management and ensure legal compliance

Client Details : Our client is a large listed manufacturing setup based out of Pune with global operations in the US, Europe, Japan and China.

Description :

- Define the company's global financial strategy (Controllership, Treasury, Taxation, Internal Audit & Compliance, Investor relations, ) in alignment with business objectives;  Translate overall strategic plan into financial measures

- Partner with senior management and contribute in developing the overall business strategy

- Oversee design and drive effective execution of financial policies and procedures related to financial domains

- Oversee execution of accounting policies & procedures in compliance with accounting standards

- Review and suggest modifications to finalize annual accounting reports and submit the same for board approval

- Develop governance mechanisms to mitigate firm's financial and reputational risk

- Develop and drive execution of the firm's financing strategy; Review and approve capital financing decisions to facilitate growth plans

- Assist new banking & treasury head in assessing future financial requirements, review strategic gaps in business plans / funding plans and identify funding options

- Direct the legal and company secretarial activities of the organization with a view to identify and mitigate legal risks

- Develop employee capability and build functional excellence through various learning and development interventions and mentoring initiatives

Profile :

You are a Chartered Accountant with :

- Min. 15-20 years, with minimum 5-7 year's experience in a Public Listed Company with a manufacturing background

- In depth understanding of the Corporate Finance function

- Strategic Orientation

- Planning and Organizing skills

- Understanding of financial management, planning and budgeting
