A leading client in Bangalore is looking for a Chief Financial Officer.

Position Summary

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be responsible for steering the financial direction of the company, ensuring robust financial planning, compliance and governance. This role demands expertise in treasury operations, financial reporting, risk management, and strategic capital allocation. The CFO will play a crucial role in aligning financial strategies with business growth while maintaining financial integrity and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Strategy & Leadership

- Develop and execute financial strategies that support corporate growth and profitability.

- Analyze business performance, market trends, and financial risks to drive strategic decisions.

- Optimize capital structure and financial leverage for sustainable business expansion.

- Provide financial insights on mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and investment opportunities.

- Ensure adherence to ethical financial practices and corporate governance standards.

Capital & Treasury Management

- Assess funding needs and secure cost-effective financial resources.

- Manage treasury functions, foreign exchange risks, and working capital for optimal liquidity.

- Implement strategies for surplus fund management and credit limit optimization.

- Oversee debt management and interest rate strategies to maintain financial stability.

Compliance, Reporting & Risk Management

- Ensure accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting, tax filings, and regulatory submissions.

- Monitor financial risks, ensure adherence to disclosure norms, and oversee audit procedures.

- Implement robust budgeting, cost control, and forecasting measures to uphold fiscal discipline.

Operational Excellence & Financial Systems

- Oversee finance and accounting operations, ensuring seamless integration with SAP systems.

- Supervise financial contracts, pricing frameworks, and IPO readiness initiatives.

- Manage financial operations across multiple geographies, including the UK, USA, and EU.

Stakeholder Engagement & Team Leadership

- Foster strong relationships with banks, financial institutions, regulatory bodies, and investors.

- Present financial reports to government agencies, trade councils, and credit rating organizations.

- Lead and mentor the finance team, driving efficiency, innovation, and employee development.

Qualifications & Experience

- Chartered Accountant (CA) / MBA (Finance), or an equivalent qualification with 18+ years of senior financial leadership, preferably within manufacturing companies.

- Strong expertise in SAP-based financial management and reporting.

- Proven experience in fundraising, M&A, IPO preparedness, and multi-location financial oversight.
