B. Job Objective :

- The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for delivering the profitability as per the Business Plan for the respective SBUs in the Company, to the Shareholders. Responsible for all financial and fiscal management aspects of the Company's operations.

- Provide strategic financial leadership, business planning, forecasting, accounting and budgeting processes, tax and risk management, compliance and insurance, forex management and optimize returns to the Shareholders. 

- The CFO reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer and assists on strategic and tactical matters as they relate to financial management and their impact to the business operations.

- Financial Report presentation to the Board on a Weekly, Monthly Quarterly, Half Yearly and Annual basis

Principal Responsibilities :

 - Responsible for statutory compliances :

 - Direct/Indirect Taxes (GST) 

- Company Law - Statutory 

 - Legal cases (pertaining to the related field) -

 Forex :

- Provide strategic direction and management of the Finance and Accounts function to ensure shareholder value creation. 

- Manage the financial risks, planning towards Fund Management and record-keeping.

 - Participate in preparation of the Annual Plan and Strategic Business Plans that improve the efficiency and long term profitability of the business and ensure optimum functioning of the departments.

 - Ensure the design of a robust data driven business-decision-making framework, technology driven process improvements and change initiatives that enable the budgeting, forecasting and reporting to be carried out in a consistent and effective manner. 

- Ensure compliance with the company's policies, procedures and local statutory regulations.

- Manage Statutory and Internal Auditors. 

- Responsible for the Organization's financial condition & capital structure.

- Evaluate investment options, determining the best mix of debt, equity and internal financing, taking into consideration risk and liquidity. 

 Strategic :

 - Financial Planning & Projections 

- Profitability analysis of each unit in DOTEPL

 - Internal Performance & Reporting 

- Asset management 

- External Audit

- Forex Management 

- IT Implementation - Banking Financial

Financial :

- Preparing the budget for the year including the cash flow projection, 3 months prior to the end of the year

- Preparing Daily, Weekly, Monthly Quarterly, Half Yearly and Annual Fund Flow

- Management and analysis of Budget on a Daily, Weekly, Monthly Quarterly, Half Yearly and Annual basis

- All reports on financial performance of the company to be presented to the CEO & the CMD - Monthly Cash flow statement

- Monthly budget and variance analysis

- Responsible for conducting internal audit and presenting the findings to the MD and Board of Directors - Insurance

People : 

- Drive a performance driven culture in the organization by timely monitoring, review of performance parameters and feedback to the team members.

- Oversee succession planning for all critical roles in the team and groom high- potential subordinates

- Contribute toward development of talent for the function by providing subordinates with adequate exposure and growth opportunities to enable readiness for higher roles

- Actively participate as Function Head / Line Manager in HR initiatives to drive overall employee engagement and motivation
