Chief Financial Officer - Manufacturing

Location : Chennai

Qualification : MBA - Finance from Premier Institutes / CA / ICWA

Experience : 10+ years with at least 3 years as Head of Finance function for a small company or finance function in a big4 company

Responsibilities :

The role will be involved in supporting the growth plans of the company by providing timely inputs to the CEO and Sr. Management. Monitoring financial strategy including financial planning/modelling, maintaining processes, systems and controls that facilitate the achievement of overall business objectives.

The incumbent will be responsible for :

1) Taxation : Maintaining process and systems towards compliance with Taxation laws- direct & indirect taxes.

2) Financial Accounting : Maintaining the books of accounts and Liase with auditors both internal and external, monitor expense and handle processing of treasury related operations.

3) Responsible for compliance and managing board members, investor queries.

4) Management Accounting : Preparing and publishing MIS/Dashboards, handle inventory and costing decisions.

5) Assist Senior Management in developing and monitoring long term strategic plans.

6) Undertake strategic treasury related decisions.

7) Drive cost reduction programs along with the functional heads in order to create tangible bottom line impact for the organization.

8) Establish controls and streamline processes through automation/controls to ensure integrity of data.

9) Manage initiatives such as CapEx proposals, business idea evaluation, etc. by providing key inputs to ensure feasibility and ROI.

10) Build relationships with investors, bankers, statutory & regulatory authorities, rating agencies, external vendors.

11) Maintain Compliance. Escalate key issues and manage time schedules of audits.

12) Ensure the workforce is motivated for high performance environment. Recruit and develop talents.
