Chief Financial Officer - Mumbai - Luxury Fashion Retail/Portal

Key Accountabilities :

- Responsibility for the planning, implementation, managing and running of all the financial activities of the company, including fund raising, M&A, business planning and strategy, budgeting, forecasting and negotiations.

- This position will be reporting to the Managing Director and the Board of Directors.

Business

- Delivering end to end business performance improvement

- Reporting to Board of Directors on finalization of quarterly performance and metrics

- Aid in decision making for all strategic requirements

- Understand business needs and objectives

- Financial planning and analysis- budgeting, cost reduction, reduction of losses, revenue assurance

- Financial and non-financial data analysis

- Decision making on taxation

- Define company-wide metrics and relevant data sources

- Vendor negotiations

- Mergers and Acquisitions

- Fund raising and financing responsibilities

Operations

- Ensure greater operational efficiency through stakeholder management and negotiations

- Identifies, recommends and implements new financial policies and processes as required aligned to business plans

- Ensures departmental compliance with all regulations, standards and best practices and financial documentation

- Keep updated on export import regulations of different countries to ensure smooth and seamless operations for business and customers globally.

Stakeholder Management

- Work closely with internal stakeholders for MIS, business insights, legal department and the secretarial outfit

- Overseeing external stakeholder connects with vendors and customers

- Interaction with auditors and experts on RBI matters and trends

- Be part of a network that keeps abreast of industry news and trends

Team Management & Hiring

- Lead a team of 40 finance professionals

- Build and lead a team to transform objectives into actionable business insights

Business understanding:

- Understanding of the entire financial spectrum for an organization

- Ability to decipher data that aids in operational and business efficiencies will be a must

EDUCATION :

- A Chartered Accountant is a must

- An MBA preferably in Finance would be an added advantage
