Chief Financial Officer - IT/BPO - CA

Role Summary:

We are seeking a strategic and seasoned Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our finance team in Chennai. This role is crucial in driving the financial strategy and operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting the company's growth objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial reporting, taxation, treasury management, and financial forecasting within publicly listed companies.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Compliance:

- Oversee financial reporting in compliance with Indian Accounting Standards (IND AS) and manage the consolidation of financial statements.

- Ensure regulatory compliance with SEBI, RBI, and other statutory requirements, including reporting under SEBI LODR.

- Lead and manage statutory, internal, and tax audits.

Finance Operations:

- Supervise accounts receivable, accounts payable, and GL accounting functions.

- Drive process automation to enhance efficiency in vendor payments, employee reimbursements, and internal controls.

- Design and implement financial systems, policies, and procedures to maintain strong internal financial control.

Taxation & Treasury:

- Manage direct and indirect taxation, ensuring compliance and strategic financial management.

- Oversee treasury functions, including borrowings, investments, and forex risk management.

Forecasting, Budgeting & MIS:

- Lead the monthly financial and quarterly rolling forecast processes.

- Conduct detailed profitability analysis, including project-wise, tower-wise, and region-wise assessments.

- Drive the annual financial planning process and provide detailed cost analysis through robust MIS.

People Management:

- Lead, mentor, and manage the finance team, providing functional direction and support.

- Monitor team performance, ensuring high levels of engagement and retention of top talent.

- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the finance team.

Qualifications:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) with a minimum of 18 years of experience in finance, ideally within publicly listed companies.

- Deep understanding of Indian GAAP, IFRS, and compliance standards.

- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and motivate teams.

- Proven experience in managing external audits, internal controls, and compliance matters.

- Excellent analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
