Designation: CFO Reports to M D.
Chartered Accountant, preferably a Qualified Company Secretary
Responsible for various aspects of finance, treasury, taxation, revenue assurance, control function - MIS, negotiation and vetting of Agreements - commercial, compliance & supply chain management functions. Should possess strong leadership, motivational and organizational skills; problem solving abilities; ambitious, hardworking and flexible team player, with high ethics and integrity and excellent communication and negotiation skills.
% Of time spent
(Must add up to 100%) Task/Accountability
60% - Control function including budgeting & MIS.
- Cash flow forecasting & working capital Management.
- Responsible for day to day affairs including cash flow management, liaising with Banks & other financial institutions.
- Day to day accounting & finalization of Accounts & internal audit.
- Developing Systems & Processes
20% - To analyze future financial needs; arrange / structure project and corporate finance deals including due diligence.
15% - Coordinate legal due diligence, development and negotiation of term sheets, investment memorandum, presentation of the proposal to the investment committee, definitive agreements, and management of closing and post closing issues.
5% - Works on other projects as requested.
The role involves managing a team to:
- Development & implementation of sound accounting systems & processes.
- Timely closure of day to day accounting matters leading to monthly MIS by 5th of following month.
- Timely & accurate administration of HR related matters, including payroll administration & legal compliances across locations.
- Proper monthly internal audit.
- Development of annual & monthly budgets & implementing budgetary controls.
- Manage working capital and cash flow across locations.
- Prepare tax calculations, maintain tax records and liaise with tax advisers/ authorities.
- Prepare finance-related board papers and attend relevant meetings
- Establish and monitor financial risk management policies
- Ensure integrity and completeness of financial records and operation of accounting processes
- Fixed asset administration. Document and test internal controls of site assets
- Provide ad hoc finance function support as required
- Monitor compliance with the financial reporting requirements of the promoter entity, where applicable
- Establish finance facilities as required
- Ensuring regulatory compliances.
- Commercial function including vetting & finalizing agreements and legal cases, if any.
- Supervising supply chain management function.-
