Job summary : Responsible for leading the entire Finance vertical, he/she will be responsible to manage relationships with investors/shareholders, bankers, auditors and rating agencies as company representative. He will drive the entire process of deal origination, negotiation & interaction with potential sellers & bankers, financial modeling & analysis, coordination of internal as well as third party due-diligence, transaction structuring, and finalization of documentation and presentation of deal to internal committees & board.

Job Responsibilities :

- Acts as a strategic business partner to the senior executive leadership team and Co-create fundraising strategy with CEO/COO that is aligned and can sustain our ambitions as an organization.

- Identify & connect with investors, pitching investment opportunity, managing due diligence; negotiations on term sheet and shareholders agreements

- Anchor an equity fundraise round and a debt fundraise. End to end ownership of putting together a business plan, managing the due diligence process, legal documentation and shareholders agreement and secretarial compliance.

- Formulate and design annual operating plan and tracking of actual vs. planned along with driver-based variance

- Drive end to end business strategy, investor relations and cross functional initiatives along with the business CEOs and CXOs

- Enhance and implement financial and accounting systems, processes, tools and control systems

- Utilize forward-looking models and activity-based analyses to provide financial insight into the organization's plans and operating budgets.

- Provide financial leadership and input into key operational and strategic projects within the market

- Research fundraising opportunities with banks / NBFC / statutory bodies / Investors, Identify & evaluate new opportunities as per the Investment Charter set out by the board.

- Oversee the company's fiscal activity, including budgeting, reporting, and auditing.

- Assess and evaluate financial performance of organization with regard to long-term operational goals, budget and forecasts

- Create and establish yearly financial objectives that align with the company's plan for growth and expansion with Board and CXOs

- Oversee the preparation and timely filing of all local, state and federal tax returns

- Enhance and implement financial and accounting systems, processes, tools and control systems.

- Develop and build an effective, motivated and engaged team with an objective of succession planning.

Required Skills and Experience :

- Should be qualified (PGDM & MBA Finance from Tier 1) with relevant professional experience in investment banking, private equity, or corporates.

- Should have a key focus on M&A & portfolio strategy, fundraising & investor relations.

- Should have an understanding of private equity market dynamics.

- Strong relationships with VC/PE Firms, ECB Lenders, PSU, Private Banks & FIs and infrastructure NBFCs.

- Should have an understanding of and experience in building financial models for valuations and financial returns analysis.
