Company Overview: Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Interim Group CFO to oversee the financial management of our diverse group of entities.

Mission & Challenges:

- Primary Mission: Manage the Group Finance Function effectively and efficiently, ensuring robust financial health across all entities.

- Challenges:

o Oversee a diversified portfolio of businesses, each with unique financial requirements.

o Develop and implement financial strategies that support growth and profitability.

o Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Management:

o Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for all group entities.

o Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements across all businesses.

2. Strategic Planning:

o Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the group's overall business objectives.

o Provide financial insights and recommendations to management and promoters for strategic decision-making.

3. Operational Efficiency:

o Streamline financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

o Implement robust financial controls to mitigate risk and ensure integrity in financial reporting.

4. Growth Partner:

o Collaborate with business unit heads to support growth initiatives and new business opportunities.

o Develop financial models and projections to guide investment decisions and assess profitability.

5. Compliance and Governance:

o Ensure all entities adhere to corporate governance standards and statutory requirements.

o Oversee compliance with accounting standards (CA, CS, CFA) and legal regulations.

6. Team Leadership:

o Lead and mentor the finance team across various business units.

o Foster a culture of high performance and continuous improvement within the finance function.

Preferred Industry Background:

- Extensive experience in the film business or production house environment.

- Proven track record in managing the financial functions of diverse and multi-faceted organizations.

Experience & Qualifications:

- 18-20 years of experience in finance, with significant leadership experience as a CFO or equivalent role.

- Essential qualifications include CA, CS, CFA, or equivalent credentials.

- Minimum age of 40 years.

- Effective and efficient management of the group finance function.

- Partnering in growth and future fundamentals of the business.

- Development of systems and processes to support business growth.

- Enablement and projection of profitability indices for each business unit and the group as a whole.
