Chief Financial Officer
1. Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A):
- Develop and execute financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
- Provide strategic financial insights and analysis to support decision-making.
- Assess the financial performance of the organization and recommend improvements.
2. Financial Reporting:
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards.
- Communicate financial results and key performance indicators to stakeholders, such as the board of directors, investors, and management.
3. Risk Management:
- Identify and assess financial risks and implement risk management strategies.
- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with regulations.
4. Capital Management:
- Manage capital structure and funding strategies to support business objectives.
- Oversee investment decisions and evaluate the return on investment for various projects.
5. Treasury Management:
- Manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital.
- Monitor and optimize banking relationships, including loans and credit facilities.
6. Tax Strategy and Compliance:
- Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize the organization's tax position.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
7. Financial Operations:
- Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
- Streamline and optimize financial processes to improve efficiency.
8. Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A):
- Participate in M&A activities, including due diligence, financial analysis, and integration planning.
- Assess the financial impact of potential acquisitions and divestitures.
9. Financial Leadership:
- Provide leadership to the finance team, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
- Collaborate with other executives and departments to align financial strategies with overall business goals.
10. Compliance and Ethics:
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and ethical standards.
- Implement and enforce financial policies and procedures.
11. Communication and Stakeholder Relations:
- Communicate financial information effectively to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
- Build and maintain relationships with investors, analysts, and other external parties.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
- Chartered Accountant (CA)/MBA/ICWAI is good to have.
- Minimum of 10 to 15 years' experience
- Preference will be given to a candidate who has worked in Public limited companies.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders
- Problem solver and critical thinker mind-set.
- Excellent management and supervisory skills.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
