Key Responsibilities:

Financial Strategy and Planning:

- Develop and communicate a comprehensive financial strategy that aligns with the organization's business objectives and the specific demands of the hospitality industry.

- Lead the annual budgeting process and provide ongoing financial forecasts and projections to guide strategic decisions.

Financial Reporting and Analysis:

- Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, performance metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the financial health of the organization.

- Provide insightful and actionable analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

Capital Management:

- Manage capital expenditure planning and allocation for property improvements, renovations, and expansions.

- Evaluate investment opportunities and capital projects to ensure alignment with business objectives and financial viability.

Cost Control and Efficiency:

- Implement cost control measures and operational efficiencies to optimize resource allocation and enhance profitability without compromising guest experience.

- Collaborate with operational teams to identify areas for cost reduction and process improvement.

Treasury and Cash Management:

- Develop and implement cash flow management strategies to ensure adequate liquidity for day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives.

- Monitor banking relationships, debt management, and financial risk exposure.

Financial Compliance:

- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, industry standards, and tax requirements specific to the hospitality sector.

- Oversee internal controls to safeguard assets and prevent financial irregularities.

Strategic Partnerships:

- Collaborate closely with ownership groups, investors, and external partners to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.

- Participate in negotiations and due diligence for acquisitions, partnerships, and joint ventures.

Team Leadership:

- Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering professional growth and maintaining a high-performing and engaged department.

- Provide guidance on complex financial matters and serve as a resource for cross-functional teams.

Risk Management:

- Identify and assess financial risks inherent to the hospitality industry, such as market volatility, regulatory changes, and economic fluctuations.

- Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.

Qualifications and Requirements:

- CA.

- Extensive experience in progressively responsible financial leadership roles within the hospitality industry.

- In-depth understanding of hospitality finance, including revenue management, cost structures, and industry-specific financial dynamics.

- Strong analytical skills and the ability to synthesize complex financial data into actionable insights.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.

- Proven track record of financial strategy development and execution.

- Experience in capital project management and financial modelling.

- Familiarity with hospitality technology solutions and systems.

- Strategic thinking and the ability to align financial strategies with broader organizational goals.

- Ethical conduct and the ability to maintain confidentiality and objectivity.

- Flexibility to adapt to the evolving nature of the hospitality industry
