Purpose of the Role:

- The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will oversee financial operations, budgeting, financial planning, forecasting, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.

- The CFO will provide leadership in developing and implementing financial strategies to enhance profitability, optimize operational efficiency, and support the hospital's growth and mission.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Strategy and Leadership:

- Develop and implement the hospital's financial strategy aligned with organizational goals.

- Advise the CEO and senior management on financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.

- Lead financial due diligence, risk management, and sustainability initiatives.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

- Oversee the preparation of the annual budget and long-term financial plans.

- Analyze financial performance against key performance indicators and make strategic recommendations.

- Implement systems for financial monitoring, forecasting, and reporting.

Financial Reporting and Compliance:

- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to the Board, regulatory bodies, and stakeholders.

- Oversee compliance with financial, tax, and regulatory reporting requirements in healthcare.

- Implement strong internal controls and audit procedures.

Investment and Capital Management:

- Oversee investment strategies, working capital management, and cash flow optimization.

- Manage financial aspects of capital projects, equipment procurement, and infrastructure upgrades.

- Efficiently allocate financial resources to support growth and patient care.

Cost Control and Efficiency:

- Identify cost-saving opportunities and operational efficiencies.

- Lead initiatives to streamline processes, reduce waste, and control costs without compromising patient care quality.

Stakeholder Engagement:

- Liaise with investors, banks, auditors, and financial institutions to secure funding.

- Provide financial insights to support decision-making and ensure alignment with the hospital's mission.
