The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for managing the financial actions of the company. The CFO's duties include tracking cash flow, analyzing strengths/weaknesses in the company's finances, overseeing all aspects of financial planning and reporting, and proposing strategic directions. The CFO plays a critical role in shaping the company's strategic planning and ensuring the long-term financial health of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's goals.
- Provide strategic recommendations to the members of the executive management team.
- Manage the processes for financial forecasting and budgets, and oversee the preparation of all financial reporting.
2. Financial Management:
- Oversee the preparation of annual budgets, monthly forecasts, and financial plans.
- Ensure the company's financial compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Optimize the company's financial performance including working capital, investment funds, and cost management.
3. Risk Management:
- Identify, manage, and mitigate financial risks.
- Develop and monitor reliable control systems.
- Ensure that record-keeping meets the requirements of auditors and government agencies.
4. Reporting and Analysis:
- Provide timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial reports, and financial trends.
- Present financial reports to the board of directors, stakeholders, and external parties.
- Ensure compliance with all financial reporting requirements.
5. Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting team.
- Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and professional growth.
- Collaborate with other department heads to support overall company goals and objectives.
6. Investment Management:
- Manage the company's investment portfolio and ensure effective capital allocation.
- Evaluate and advise on the impact of long-range planning and the introduction of new programs/strategies.
7. Stakeholder Management:
- Maintain relationships with banks, investors, and other financial institutions.
- Serve as a key point of contact for external auditors and oversee audit processes.
Required:
- Minimum of 15-20 years of experience in a senior financial managerial position.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a healthcare services organization having chain of hospitals/ labs/ PPP (private public partnership) healthcare service.
