We successfully raised our pre-seed round in last month, and are now assembling a strong core team to fuel our next phase of growth.
Role Overview
We are seeking a visionary CFO to join our leadership team. As CFO, you will be the financial architect of the company - responsible for building robust financial systems, fundraising, strategic planning, and investor relations. This role offered with equity-based compensation.
Key Responsibilities
- Fundraising & Investor Relations: Lead future fundraising rounds (Seed, Series A), including pitch decks, financial models, term sheet negotiations, and due diligence.
- Financial Forecasting & Reporting: Build and maintain dynamic financial models, revenue projections, and break-even analysis.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks, tax laws, and internal controls.
- Cash Flow & Budgeting: Monitor capital allocation, burn rate, and manage operating budgets to optimize runway.
- Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate on partnerships and M&A opportunities that align with business objectives.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other co-founders in shaping overall business strategy, expansion planning, and execution.
Requirements
- 510 years of experience in finance, investment banking, venture capital, or in a CFO role (preferably with startups or early-stage companies).
- Proven expertise in fundraising, financial modelling, and investor management.
- Strong grasp of compliance, Indian regulatory and tax frameworks, and corporate finance.
- Prior experience in a startup or entrepreneurial environment is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Gurgaon-based or willing to relocate (preferred).
- Willingness to join on equity compensation only at this stage.
