- Review organizational processes, systems and frameworks from a financial control perspective to identify potential areas of improvement. Drive development of processes for asset management and tracking (custodianship), delegation of authority, checks and control points. Provide inputs to strengthen contract management, accounting, taxation, audit and compliance management processes and enhance efficiency.
- Develop a framework for risk assessment and management within the organization.
- Drive teams and other departments to identify and categorize risks (operational, financial, compliance, etc.)
- Analyse the existing organization structure (holding company, SPVs, ownership) in the light of taxation laws, ownership regulations, fund isolation and flow within the operating units, future expansion, ease of funding (domestic and abroad), requirement for listing (domestic and abroad).
- Work with Head Legal and senior management to develop legal strategy. Guide legal team to strengthen legal processes to reduce risks to organization (contracts, land acquisition, other assets, etc.)
