Catamaran Water Base Solutions – CFO Role for the company operations.

About Us: We sell fish (fresh, chilled, frozen and value added / processed) and other sea foods through B2B and B2C channels.

Shoal: Our B2B model where we sell fish to Hotels (five stars) and Institutional buyers was started back in 2010.For Hotels, Restaurants, Caterers and Institutional retailers, we sell frozen, ready to use, HACCP complaint fish delivered through cold chain solutions ensuring quality and consistency of the products. This channel has already touched annual revenue of INR 1.41 cr.

Goodfish: This is our B2C segment, which we are starting this year. We will be opening retail outlets serving 30 different varieties of fish on any given day which will include Fish, Prawns, Crabs, and Squids, processed in front of the customer to their requirement in the most hygienic fashion, accurate weight and compelling daily price.

Pescetarian: This will be a chain of quick service restaurants, where we will serve only fish and sea food dishes with both serve and take away options.

Position: CFO for the group

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Act as pricing leader for the company

- Planning , directing and controlling financial activities at group level

- Formalize annual budget for the company and validate operational performance by finalization of accounts , financial reporting and MIS

- Institute review, approval and control mechanisms for projects, adequate usage of resources and reducing working capital cycles.

- Ensure compliance with statutory and tax related matters.

- Assess benefits of all possible investments and advise team accordingly.

- Train the Finance department and other associates on raising awareness and knowledge of finance department.

CFO will be leading a team of executives and will work with CEO on the strategic vision of the company. He will also be involved in fund raising activities and will advise the CEO on choosing the different modes.

We are looking for candidates with CA / MBA (finance) background with an experience of 4 or more years and have done most of the above mentioned roles and responsibilities in his previous stints. He /She should be ready to work in a start up environment with all possible constraints. Salary will be competitive to industry standards and will have equity options.
