Chief Financial officer - UAE and Africa - 2 Roles

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be responsible for the overall financial strategy, planning, and management of a manufacturing, retail, and FMCG company. The CFO will oversee financial operations, risk management, and reporting to ensure the company's financial health and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

- Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans, budgets, and forecasts. Analyze financial performance and identify areas for improvement.

- Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards (both Indian GAAP and US GAAP).

- Risk Management: Assess and manage financial risks, including credit risk, market risk, and operational risk. Implement strategies to mitigate risks and protect the company's financial stability.

- Financial Operations: Oversee financial operations, including accounting, treasury, tax, and internal audit. Ensure efficient and effective financial processes.

- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute the company's strategic financial goals. Provide financial insights and analysis to support decision-making.

Investor Relations: Manage relationships with investors, analysts, and financial institutions. Communicate the company's financial performance and strategy effectively.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) on the first attempt

- Minimum 10 years of experience in a senior finance role, preferably in the manufacturing, retail, or FMCG industry.

- Significant experience with US GAAP accounting is essential.

- Strong understanding of financial accounting principles, financial analysis, and risk management.

- Proven track record of financial leadership and strategic planning.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
