Position Summary:

As the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), you will play a pivotal role in steering the financial strategy and operations of our organization. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of accounts and finance management, ensuring statutory compliance with regulatory standards, and providing strategic insights to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

- Accounts and Finance: Lead the accounts and finance function, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in compliance with applicable standards.

- Finalization of Books: Oversee the process of finalizing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

- Management Information System (MIS): Develop and maintain robust MIS frameworks to provide timely and accurate financial information for decision-making.

- Reporting: Prepare comprehensive financial reports for internal stakeholders, management, and regulatory authorities as per prescribed timelines.

- Finance Control: Establish and monitor financial controls to safeguard company assets and ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures.

- Statutory Compliance: Ensure adherence to statutory requirements and regulations, staying updated on changes and implementing necessary measures, including GST and TDS regulations.

- Taxation: Manage tax planning, compliance, and reporting activities, optimizing tax efficiency while ensuring full compliance with tax laws including GST and TDS regulations.

- Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process, collaborating with department heads to develop realistic budgets aligned with business objectives.

- Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flows, optimize liquidity, and manage working capital efficiently to support business operations.

- Monitoring & coordinating Statutory Audit, Internal Audit, and Cost Audit etc.

- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including investors, auditors, regulatory authorities, and financial institutions.

- Leadership: Provide leadership and mentorship to the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

- Representing company before banks, financial partners, institutions, investors, auditors & regulators.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.

- Minimum of 10 years of post-qualification experience in accounts and finance roles, preferably in the financial services industry, with a strong understanding of stock broking, wealth management, Portfolio Management Services (PMS), and capital market business is desirable.

- Familiarity with regulatory requirements specific to the stock broking and wealth management industries.

- Experience with ERP systems for financial management.

- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and lead cross-functional teams.

- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
