Chief Financial Officer - Education Sector

- Role with a company running chain of International schools in Chennai/Coimbatore

- Experience of working closely with a PE portfolio company is preferred

Our Client -

Our client is one of the renowned names running a chain of K-12 schools in Chennai/Coimbatore area. They have recently received funding from an American well known PE and are looking to strengthen their finance function.The role is to be based out of Chennai/Coimbatore and will be finance leadership role. The role would also involve travelling between Chennai and Coimbatore and the client prefers someone who can speak Tamil.

Job Description:-

Reporting to the PE board and dotted line to Indian CEO, you will be responsible for:-

- Debt fund raising needs and maintaining relationship with banks/FIs

- Solely responsible for statutory compliance and maintaining hygiene from financial reporting perspective

- Managing a team of finance professionals and ensuring smooth streamlining of operations

- Actively participating in business strategy and helping CEO to make informed financial decisions

- Representing the organization for tax related matters and giving strategic financial direction to the company to be able to expand its operations

Ideal Candidate:-

Ideally you have 10-18 years of experience working in a portfolio company of PE or have experience in debt fund raising. You are comfortable to be based out of Chennai and preferably speaks Tamil. You have a track record of success and are looking to take on the next challenging role in your career.
