About our Client - Our client is looking for a senior finance leader to be a founding member of the executive team charged with bringing this global vision to India. This position is responsible for the overall financial and operational stewardship of their commercial businesses in India. This role will grow to oversee a team of 10+ people, and will be based in Bangalore

Job Description - This Finance leader position will be responsible for:

- Supporting the country manager in conducting weekly reviews of business categories, understanding results, and the relationship of those results to the key customer facing inputs (pricing, selection, convenience);

- Developing forecasts for individual business categories, accurately (and in detail) modeling core business drivers;

- Driving the annual planning sessions that include a strategic discussion of the results and immediate forecast, and the long-term road map for future years;

- Conducting periodic reviews of financial results, understanding key variances to plan, and orchestrating the path to corrective action with key stakeholders;

- Creating high quality management reporting to facilitate the communication of numbers and results including vendor scorecards, price trends and other metrics critical to keeping the business on track with planned results;

- Reporting daily, weekly and monthly KPIs, including online Traffic, Orders, Revenue, Contribution Margin, Vendor performance, and Inventory;

The Successful Candidate - You are a CA/MBA or have an advanced degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics. You have 10-15 years of experience in positions of Senior Financial Director or Controller roles in Multinational environments in e-commerce sector only. You have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with multiple management levels of the organization.
