Role: Chief Financial Officer

Location of posting: Chandigarh

Job Purpose :

The position is responsible for taking on a leadership role in financial planning and execution to improve and maintain the financial health of the organization

Key Accountabilities :

- Responsible for overall finance and accounting function of the company according to policies and procedures and Generally Accepted Accounting Practices (GAAP). Preparation of financial modelling

- Responsible to finalize finance plan & deal with various international fund-raising institutions and agencies. Participate in Roadshows

- Oversee organization-wide budget, investments, income, purchasing, finance and financial controls, records and business functions, financial and insurance policies, and operational audits

- Interface with internal functional teams, including Treasury, insurance, audit, legal, tax and risk management

- Establish and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with federal, state and local tax and regulatory agencies

- Oversee statutory compliance, filing yearly tax returns, registrations, and licenses

- Ensure that Internal Audit and External Audit processes and compliances are executed.

- Advise senior leadership on financial aspects i.e. transfer pricing, set up holding companies etc

Education :

Qualified Chartered Account with excellent academic background

Experience :

Minimum 15 -20 years of experience in leading global companies. Should have the working knowledge of dealing with financial institutions, Private equity players. Excellent working knowledge of global finance practices and due diligence. Well conversant with trade practices in different countries and regions. Demonstrated the ability to conduct complex analysis of financial data; ability to forecast and assess the financial impact of the project and recommend solutions. Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office, hands-on accounting ERP software experience is desirable.
