Job Responsibilities :

- Chief Financial Officer

Location : Mumbai [Initially based at Bangalore]

Qualification :

- CPA/CA

- Proficiency with English

Preferred : MBA

Reporting : CEO

Direct reports :

- Central accounting functions

- Branch accounting functions

- Human Resources Administration

Experience :

- At least 10 years financial experience in a cross section of specialist roles (e.g. General Accounting, Financial Planning, Budgeting, Costing, etc.)

- Preferred: Experience in a multinational, transaction-business and / or service company; B2B. Exposure to pharmaceutical / healthcare industry is an advantage.

Key roles :

- As a key member of the Executive Management team he will assume a strategic role in the overall management of the company.

- The CFO will have primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities of the company.

- This will include direct responsibility for accounting, finance, forecasting, strategic planning, legal, property management, investor relationships and partnership compliance and private and institutional financing.

Job Description :

- Overall responsibility for all financial, accounting, treasury, tax etc. matters.

- Functional leadership, internal and external, including strategic planning and controlling.

- Exercise control over P&L, B/S and Cash Flow to protect the position and assets of the company

- Driving force to increase efficiency and effectiveness of the company

- Pro-actively engage, internally and externally for the company to achieve its desired financial objectives

- Maintain absolute transparency and high reporting standards towards shareholders and key internal stakeholders

- Build a strong team and productive relationships (internal and external)

- Be responsible for Risk Management

Skills/Expertise :

- Planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial - related activities of the company
