Chief Financial Officer - CA - BFS

A leading real estate and corporate lending NBFC is hiring for a CFO position based in Mumbai

Responsibilities :

As Chief Financial Officer the successful candidate will have to discharge the following key responsibilities :

- Work with the CEO on the strategic vision including fostering and cultivating stakeholder relationships

- Assist in performing all tasks necessary to achieve the organization's mission and help establish and execute growth plans.

- Monitor banking/financing activities of the organization.

- Participate in developing new business, including driving the identification of new funding opportunities, drafting of budgets and determining cost effectiveness of service delivery.

- Ensure adequate controls are installed and ensure compliance with all finance related regulatory requirements.

- Responsibility for preparing books of account, all relevant tax returns, finance related regulatory filings, various audits (internal and external)

- Oversee the maintenance of the inventory of all fixed assets, ensuring all are in accordance with local regulations.

- Train the Finance Unit and other staff on raising awareness and knowledge of financial management matters.

- Overall Financial management : Overseeing finances, Statutory Audit, Taxation, Compliance, Strengthening control framework, coordination with RBI, investor management and coordination etc

- Debt raising - working with existing lenders, expanding relationships to new lenders, working with credit rating agencies

Education :

- CA qualification preferred

Experience :

- Minimum 15 years of finance experience in a Banking/NBFC led set up.
